(1)dancing, swimming 都是由 v.+ing 构成的名词。这种构词法的规律是:a. 一般动词,直接在词尾加上 ing 构成名词。 如 listen, listening 听,听力;sing,singing 唱歌;fish,fishing 钓鱼,捕鱼等。b. 以不发
7、音的字母 e 结尾的动词,要去掉不发音的字母 e,再加 ing 才能构成名词。如 dance,dancing 跳舞,舞蹈;drive,driving 开车,驾驶.c. 以一个元音字母+一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词,要先双写这个辅音字母,再加上 ing 构成名词。如 swim,swimming,游泳;run, running 跑步;chat,chatting 闲聊,聊天 等。(2).dancing, swimming 等表示某种“活动”的名词,(也叫动名词)通常只用单数形式如:Lots of girls like _. 许多女孩喜欢跳舞。_ is an interesting sport.
8、游泳是一项有趣的运动。2. cute adj. 可爱的,漂亮迷人的2cute 用作形容词,与 lovely 意义相近。通常用来赞扬婴、幼或是未成年人如:The girl is _ and we all like her very much. 这个女孩可爱,我们都非常喜欢她3. glad adj. 高兴的 与 happy 是同义词。都可以用来表示某人对某事或某人的感觉和心理状态。常用 be glad to do sth. “高兴做某事” 句子结构。如: We are glad to see you. 我们见到你很高兴。我们很高兴将在伦敦奥运会期间见到你。_ during London Olymp
