Material analysis 本课是第六单元话题三的第四个课时。主要活动是 Grammar, Functions 和 1。通过听力活动、口头笔头活动、吟唱歌曲、综合探究等课堂活动,引导学生复习并操练本话题学过的关于建筑物地理位置的介词、介词短语、有关简单交通规则的英文祈使句表达、问路及指路的表达、交通灯的英文表达等,培养学生的交通安全意识,同时学会在实践中运用英语,达到学以致用的目的。本课为本话题的复习课,包括与本话题有关的词汇、语法、语用功能句型等内容,教师引导学生复习时应增强趣味性,注意相关知识的综合理解和运用,而不是知识点的机械重复与操练。 II.
2、Teaching aims 1.Knowledge aims 引导学生总结、复习 Sections A- C 所学的重点词汇; 能够在课堂活动中,总结关于建筑物地理位置的介词、介词短语、有关简单交通规则的英文祈使句表达、问路及指路的表达、交通灯的英文表达等; 能够就“问路、指路、谈论公共设施、交通标志”等话题功能进行交流与对话操练,如: (1) Excuse me, could you tell me the way to.? (2) Excuse me, where is .? (3) Go along this road until you get to . (4) You cant mi
3、ss it. (5) Its about . kilometers away from here. (6) You need to take Bus . (7) Then you should change to.at . Stop. (8) Be careful! (9) Dont play on the street. . 2.Skill aims 能听懂谈论建筑物地理位置的对话; 能听懂问路及指路的表达方式; 能使用英语进行问路及指路; 2 能正确朗读对话,注意语音语调; 能读懂简单的英文地图; 能读懂简单的交通标志和交通规则; 能够在图画的帮助下进行阅读,理解大意,并按要求进行语言活动
4、; 能使用所学表达法进行对话写作,描述学校到家的路线。 3.Emotional aims 认识交通标志、学习交通规则,同时增强交通安全意识,珍爱生命; 能够与同伴积极合作,参与课堂活动,大胆实践; 能够在课堂活动中培养乐于助人的观念。 III. The key points and difficult points 能够正确运用关于建筑物地理位置的介词、介词短语、有关简单交通规则的英文祈使句表达、问路及指路的表达、交通灯的英文表达等。 IV. Learning strategies 1.能够掌握运用图片进行猜测、帮助听说和阅读理解的学习策略; 2.能够清楚、大声地进行朗读,认真听录音和老师的发

(4)Wait until the light turns green. . 3. Read the chant in Section C individually. Some students read the chant to the
8、 whole class. After that, the whole class read the chant given by the teacher. Stop, look, and listen, Before you cross the street, Use your eyes, use your ears, Before you use your feet. 3.Listen to the students carefully. Give them a new chant to help them know some traffic rules. Presentation (10
9、 minutes) 1. Individual work and pair work. 1. Look at the pictures and choose the prepositions in “Grammar” to complete the sentences. After that, check your answers with your partner.
