13、式我们即培养了学生快速理解介绍性文字的能力,又学习了如何用简单易懂的文字来做描述,同时也为阅读文章作好了背景知识的准备。13 Reading 讲述的是著名的吉尼斯世界记录保持者,美国人阿西里塔福尔曼的故事。在这一部分当中,学生除了学习新的词汇、短语及句型结构外,主要接受阅读技巧的训练,即通过扫读及精读结合的方式训练“找、记细节”的能力;以及对文章中主人公取得成绩背后的精神支持的深层理解。另外,学生们通过对文章模拟性复述和典型段落的背诵,来输入丰富的表达方式,为写作中如何介绍人物或事件打下基础。14 Comprehending (即 Post-reading)主要通过设置阅读理解性题目来辅助学生
14、理解课文,达到训练目标。15 Learning about language 分词汇和语法两部分,即 Discovering useful words and expressions 和 Revising useful structures。 其中,词汇部分的训练目标是根据语境在运用中掌握词汇;语法板块中我们主要从基础的角度给学生复习“主语”的用法,即有哪些成分可在句中充当主语,从而为更深层的语法结构复习,如主语从句、形式主语、强调句型、倒装结构、非谓语动词等作巩固,另外我们还补充了中学生写作中常见的影响语篇整体的主语表达缺陷问题,即让学生把一篇主语使用不当的文章改写,由此令其形成主语意识。1
15、6 Using language 中包含两个部分:Listening 和 Speaking。 听力的内容仍然是围绕打破吉尼斯世界记录的话题,两名高中生谈论他们学校申请吉尼斯世界记录的事情。口语部分就如何表达“惊讶”给学生们提供了锻炼的平台,通过对于功能句的掌握及语音语调的变化来传达准确的意思。同时将这种表达能力在模拟真实的情景中发挥出来。17 Reading and writing 中有两个密切相关的板块,通过这两方面的内容,学生将完成读与写输入与输出的训练过程。读的内容是有关体育赛事中的辉煌人物及吉尼斯世界记录保持者的焦点介绍,而写的内容是阅读的延伸,那就是让学生根据已提供的信息介绍,结合阅
16、读内容将打破吉尼斯记录的事迹写成更充实完整的一篇报道。18 Workbook 是本单元教材内容的延伸和补充,其内容将通过整合来辅助教学。2. 教材重组2.1 热身和听力: Warming up 与 Workbook 中 LISTENIG 部分话题一致,都是在介绍吉尼斯世界记录,可以作为本单元的导入,用一个课时完成。2.2 精读:可将 Pre-reading, Reading 和 Comprehending 三个活动整合在一起上阅读课,用一个课时完成。2.3 泛读:处理 Workbook 中的 READING TASK。用一个课时完成。2.4 语言学习: Learning about langu
