2、e absorbed in English study and enjoy the beauty of English.学习过程一、语法聚焦(同位语从句)学习建议:根据所列例句,理解并尝试总结同位语从句的用法。(一)同位语从句的基本概念1.Tom,our monitor,is a handsome boy.汤姆,我们的班长,是一个帅气的男孩。2.I myself will do the experiment.我要自己做这一实验。3.She is the oldest among them six.她是她们六人当中年龄最大的。4.Yesterday I met Tom,a friend of m
3、y brothers.昨天,我遇到了汤姆,我哥哥的一个朋友。5.He told me the news that the plane had exploded.他告诉我那架飞机爆炸的消息。以上句子的画线部分在句子中充当的成分是 。它是句子成分的一种,它位于名词、代词后面,补充说明它们的 ,它可以由 、代词、数词、名词性短语或从句等充当。 6.The thought that they could cross the whole continent was exciting. 要横贯整个大陆的想法是令人兴奋的。7.The girls were surprised at the fact that
4、 ocean ships can sail up the Great Lakes.海轮可以开到五大湖,让女孩们感到吃惊。同位语从句在句中作某一名词尤其是 名词的同位语,一般位于该名词 ,解释说明该名词的 。这些抽象名词通常有fact,news,idea,truth,hope,problem,information,belief,thought,doubt,promise,question 等。 (二)同位语从句的连接词仔细观察下列句子,注意连接词的用法。1.The news that Mr Li will be our new English teacher is true.李先生将会是我们的
5、新英语老师的消息是准确的。2.He hasnt made the decision whether he will go there.他还没有决定他是否会去那儿。3.The question who should do the job is being discussed at the meeting.谁该做这份工作正在会议上讨论。4.I have no idea what the boy is doing in the next room now.我不知道那个男孩在邻屋里做什么。5.We havent yet settled the question where we are going t
6、o spend our summer vacation this year.我们还没有定下来今年到哪里过暑假。6.I have no idea how I can get to the railway station.我不知道如何去火车站。7.I have no idea when he will be back.我不知道他什么时候回来。(1)that 引导同位语从句时 ,如句 1; (2)whether 引导同位语从句时 ,如句 2; (3)连接代词 who,what 等引导同位语从句时 ,如句 3,4; (4)连接副词 where,how,when 等在从句中 ,如句 5,6,7。 (三)
7、同位语从句的注意事项1.The story goes that William Tell killed the king with an arrow.传说威廉特尔用箭杀死了国王。Word came that their team had won.他们队获胜的消息传来。小结:分隔式同位语从句:当含有同位语从句的句子谓语部分过短时,可以把谓语动词提前,使同位语从句与名词隔开,以避免头重脚轻的现象。2.(1)Our teacher gave us some advice that we use the computer.我们的老师给我们建议应该使用电脑。(2)The suggestion came
8、from the chairman that the new rule should be adopted.应该采用新规定的建议是主席提出来的。(3)The teacher gave the order that all the homework be finished in three weeks.老师命令我们所有的作业应该在三周内完成。先行词为名词 advice,suggestion,order,demand,command,request,desire,proposal 等后的同位语从句要使用虚拟语气,即从句谓语用 + 的形式。 3.名词 doubt 后的同位语从句用 引导;no dou
9、bt 后的同位语从句用 引导。 (1)I have some doubt whether they can complete the task on time.我怀疑他们是否能按时完成这项任务。(2)There is no doubt that Lily will keep her promise.毫无疑问莉莉会信守诺言。(四)同位语从句与定语从句的区别1.I still remember the day when I first came to Beijing.我还记得我第一次来北京的那天。(定语从句)2.Do you have any idea when he will be back?你
10、知道他什么时候回来吗?(同位语从句)3.This is the house where I lived two years ago.这是我两年前住过的房子。(定语从句)4.Then arose the question where we were to get the machines needed.那时就产生了这样一个问题,我们到哪儿寻找所需要的机器。(同位语从句)小结:当 when,where 等引导定语从句时,其意思与先行词的意思基本相同,没有 意义;但它们引导同位语从句时,与先行词毫无关系,其意义 ,即 when 表示“ 什么时候”,where 表示 “哪儿” 。它们引导这两种从句时,
